None of this is great news for Juliana.

Oh my god, Juliana. And she fucking knew; it’s obvious. That dame doesn’t do anything half-way.
Is it just me, or is she upstaging the shit out of Fawn at the moment?
Wait a minute. The customers loved her singing. And the customers are always right, right? So why does Mimi want to get rid of something that makes her customers HAPPY?
I get the impression that it has something to do with power and control. I’m guessing there’s something about singing that Bright World hasn’t figured out how to control, but gets off on like a heroin high – it is, after all, an emotional expression, and Bright World’s whole shtick is feeding on human emotion/experience/memory, what with their little crumbly pellet seltzer coins…
Well, to be fair, the customers were mostly happy about the free booze. BUT, we get a hint about it on
http://thehazardsoflove.com/comic/7pg18/ , with Mimí worrying Juliana will somehow magically get enough money to start her own bar and swipe all customers away with sheer charisma.
It is a very silly, petty concern. Mimí is a rather silly and petty creature.
Well, I look forward to seeing how it all unfolds. 🙂
